EK-Mark - Based on the Electrical Appliances and Materials Safety Control Law, certain categories of electrical & electronic products require the EK-Mark Certification. The EK-Mark is administered by the Agency for Technology and Standards, MOCIE.

Korean electrical safety standards have been harmonized based on the IEC (International Electro-technical Commission) standards. Also, South Korea is a member of the IECEE Certification Body Scheme for a variety of different devices. A Certification Body Report and Certificate issued by CSA International would be a conduit into this marketplace.
