ProCert accreditations were awarded in 1997 by the Swiss Accreditation Service (SAS). Certifications are centralized in Switzerland - a pledge of quality, credibility and rigor. The multilateral agreements of which the SAS is a signatory guarantee a value and an international recognition of ProCert certificates.

ProCert takes an active part in the work of ISO standardization or the owners of sectoral standards and keeps constant watch on international trends.

Certifications available from across the ProCert network include: ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environmental), ISO 22000 (food safety), OHSAS 18001 (occupational health and safety), FSIO-DI 2000, BRC Global Standard-Food, IFS (International Food Standard), DS 3027 Food safety, ELOT 1416 Food safety, eduQua Swiss quality certification for continuous training institutions, Normes SPEQ health & social sectors (critical care, rehabilitation, accommodation, handicapped) developed by APEQ, QuaTheDA treatment of drug & alcohol dependency and QSC (Quality School Certificate).
