ISO 14001:2004 is an environmental management system (EMS) for environmental policy, compliance, training, improvement and operational controls. It uses the same Plan Do Check Act elements as the ISO 9001 Management System.
EMAS
Environmental
EMAS (Eco Management and Audit Scheme) is a voluntary initiative designed to improve an organization’s environmental performance. EMAS is strongly backed by Government, the EU and environmental regulators – organizations who participate are recognized as making a strong commitment to the environment and to improving economic competitiveness.
